Hi everyone,
As of today, Microsoft’s App Center is officially retiring, and we have transitioned to Firebase for app testing and distribution. This ensures that you can continue to receive and test new app versions without disruption.
What is Firebase?
Firebase is a platform by Google that provides powerful tools for app development, testing, and distribution. It allows us to:
Easily distribute test builds to users.
Improve stability and performance tracking.
Provide a seamless testing experience before public releases.
What You Need to Do:
Ensure Your Google Cloud Account is Set Up – If you haven’t already, please make sure app-developers@korelogic.co.uk is added to your Google Cloud account. Without this, you will not be able to access Firebase builds. If you need assistance, please reach out to your Product Specialist for details.
Provide App Tester Emails - Provide your Product Specialist with a list of tester emails that you would like to be registered
Check Your Email for Firebase Invites – Going forward, test builds will be distributed through Firebase App Distribution.
Use a Google Account – To access the test apps, you’ll need a Gmail account or an email registered with Google.
Download Apps – This will be your new platform for downloading, installing, and testing new builds.
For more information on using Firebase to test your apps, see our Firebase for App Testing guide.
We appreciate your cooperation during this transition and are here to help if you have any questions!
