Afternoon all

After some advice regarding clean URLs.

How do you guys operate your link ?

What I mean is [domain.com/outletname](http://domain.com/outletname) taking the user to the menu link which is often long and messy.

I am assuming its another domain name similar to marketplace but what softeare is montioring and creating these links? Some sort of wordpress template ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi, my solution is ‘reasonably’ technical, so not suggesting it for everyone, but may suit!

I bought a completely different domain, I bought the `.app` extension with the town name so it’s nice and short, and then I used a Cloudflare worker (free) with a bit of JavaScript to manage the forwarding.

This way I can do [https://town.app/sushi](https://town.app/sushi) for example.

Bit of work, tiny bit of maintenance, but I like the result, and can’t beat free!

I am happy to expand more if you’re interested, but as said, it’s not for everyone & certainly not an ‘out of the box solution’

i did something similar. I bought [we-eat-local.co.uk](http://we-eat-local.co.uk) and i create links for each takeaway that joins, like [we-eat-local.co.uk/TexMex](http://we-eat-local.co.uk/TexMex) i use a site called app short io it also gives stats on clicks ect.
